The Aratu Guaiú House is inspired by several elements of the traditional fishing and shellfish gathering community of Barra de Mamanguape (PB). The straw, the arupema, the double-leaf windows and doors, the pottery, the clay dishes, among others, identify the house as a part of our Brazilian northeast.

With furniture and decor made by local artisans, our space has the aesthetics of the countryside and the beach as its concept and offers aesthetic and spatial comfort. Designed and executed by architect Gustavo Barreto, Casa Aratu Guaiú invites us to reflect on urban behavioral patterns and sustainability.
